"Aaron Shust - Whispered and Shouted Tour"

         

 

Dove Award-winning “New Artist of the Year” Aaron Shust is set to headline the 20-city “Whispered and Shouted” Tour on April 1st  in Parkersburg, WV.  The tour will hit major markets across the country, and features special guests Brandon Heath and Meredith Andrews.

 

“I’ve spent most of the last two years touring, so you’d think I’d be ready for a break,” said Shust.  “I can honestly say that I love being on the road and having the opportunity to meet new fans and friends.  The opportunity to share the stage with two amazing artists like Brandon and Meredith only adds to the fun.”

 

 The “Whispered and Shouted” Tour follows on the heels of an unprecedented string of successes for Shust in 2007.  His sophomore CD, Whispered and Shouted was released on Brash Music to accolades from critics and fans alike.  The first single from the project, “Give Me Words To Speak,” was one of 2007’s Top 10 songs at radio, marking the second year in a row one of Shust’s songs has gained the distinction.  Additionally, Shust was the recipient of three Dove Awards including “New Artist of the Year,” “Songwriter of the Year,” and “Song of the Year.”

 

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Brandon Heath quickly became a fixture at Christian radio with the release of his debut project, Don’t Get Comfortable.  His song “I’m Not Who I Was” raced to #1 and ended 2007 as one of the year’s most played radio singles. Heath has been a respected writer in the Nashville music community for years, collaborating with well-known artists like Bebo Norman, Matt Wertz and Dave Barnes, to name a few.

 

Newly-signed Word Records artist, Meredith Andrews, was recently included in Billboard’s "Hot Faces to Watch in '08."  Citing Rita Springer and Christy Nockels as her influences, Andrews is currently a worship leader at Chicago’s Harvest Bible Chapel and will release her first Word Records album, The Invitation, April 29.

 

Aaron will be performing at the South Parkersburg Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 @ 7:00pm. Brandon Heath and Meredith Andrews will also be performing during the concert.
